Two Turkish films were screened in a film festival in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on Saturday. "Kosmos" by Reha Erdem and "Bal (Honey)" by Semih Kaplanoglu were the two Turkish films screened in the 16th Sarajevo Film Festival. The festival began on July 23 and will end on July 31.
"Tales from Kars" by Ozcan Alper, "Vavien" by Durul and Yagmur Taylan, and "Married to the Camera" by Doha Kilcioglu are the other Turkish films joining the festival.
The jury of this year's competition program includes young Turkish actress Saadet Isil Aksoy.
The festival was created by a group of artists in 1995 in an effort to remove bitter traces of the four-year siege of Sarajevo and to recreate civil society of the city.
